Governance
The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership with three /page/members: the European Community, represented by the European Commission; the NEW Industry Grouping; and the N.ERGHY Research Grouping.
In legal terms, the Joint Undertaking is the legal entity, in which the partners come together to support R&D activities. Formally set up by a Council decision (
108 KB), it is responsible for implementing the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Technology Initiative (FCH JTI), the political initiative proposing this public-private partnership in fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
For coordinating the inputs of all the members and managing the activities, the Joint Undertaking's governance structure comprises
